REMY FAINT: A PROCESSION

SOLO EXHIBITION AT CASSANDRA BIRD PARIS | JANUARY 15 TO MARCH 30, 2026

Cassandra Bird Paris, supported by Zimmermann, is pleased to present Procession, a solo exhibition of new works by Remy Faint.

This exhibition marks the artist’s first solo exhibition in Europe and second solo show with the galley, bringing together a new body of work that expands Faint’s interdisciplinary practice across painting and sculpture. Employing materials such as silk, wood, fabric and ceramic, the works engage with material histories and processes, proposing a reflective, embodied approach to form-making. Drawing on diverse cultural references and material traditions, the exhibition foregrounds the artist’s ongoing exploration of his Chinese-Australian heritage.

Remy Faint (b. 1997) is an Australian artist whose practice expands the languages of painterly abstraction through examination of its global histories, mediating cross-cultural and material frameworks, particularly those referencing his Chinese heritage. Since graduating with First Class Honours from the University of New South Wales Art & Design, Faint has maintained a consistent exhibition practice across public institutions and galleries.
